1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website or booking or paying for services offered by Kind Story Coaching, operated by Elin Kindstrand, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using this website or booking services. These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Kind Story Coaching, whether booked via the website or invoiced separately.

2. About the Business

Kind Story Coaching is operated by Elin Kindstrand, under the registered business name Kind Story, based in Sweden. Business registration as a sole trader (enskild näringsverksamhet) is currently pending.

3. Services

Services offered may include, but are not limited to:

• One-on-one coaching

• Manuscript review

• Beta reading

• Story outline and developmental support

• Other writing-related services

Services are offered subject to availability and are typically arranged via contact forms or direct communication.

4. Payments

Payments for services are handled via third-party invoicing or payment providers such as PayPal or Stripe. Payments are made outside this website, and Kind Story Coaching does not store payment card details.

Payment is required in full before work begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Prices are listed on the website or agreed upon in writing. Prices may change from time to time, but confirmed bookings will always be honoured at the agreed rate.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations should be made with at least 24–48 hours’ notice, depending on the service booked.

Missed sessions or late cancellations may not be eligible for a refund. Where possible, sessions may be rescheduled at the discretion of Kind Story Coaching.

Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are generally only offered where services have not yet been delivered.

For digital or written services, once work has begun, payments are non-refundable.

6. Right of Withdrawal (EU & UK Consumers)

Under EU and UK consumer law, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal.

By booking services and requesting that work begin immediately, particularly for digital or written services, you acknowledge and agree that your right of withdrawal may be waived once the service has started or has been fully delivered.

7. Intellectual Property

Clients retain full ownership of their manuscripts and submitted materials.

All feedback, commentary, coaching materials, and written responses provided by Kind Story Coaching remain the intellectual property of Elin Kindstrand. These materials are provided for personal use only and may not be redistributed, resold, or claimed as original work by the client.

8. No Guarantees

Kind Story Coaching provides guidance, feedback, and professional opinion based on experience and expertise. No guarantees are made regarding publication, commercial success, or specific outcomes.

The responsibility for implementing feedback and making creative decisions remains with the client.

9. User Conduct

Clients are expected to engage respectfully and professionally.

Abusive, harassing, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services without refund.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11. Cookies
